Knossos Knossos is placed on the island of Crete, and was once the place where the Minoan king, King Menes, ruled. He kept the fearsome Minotaur in the Labyrinth on this very island, in this very city. Several earthquakes later, no human life existed anymore in Knossos, and the Labyrinth was partially revealed, many of its walls in ruins. Although the Minotaur no longer is in existence, an evil presence seeps through the terra, and the deity of Hades finds it quite comforting. Moderator: SeaLight |

Sparta The ruins of Sparta display the nature of the Ares-worshipping city quite well. The ruins of the city are ashen and show signs of being destroyed in battle or by fire. The fields and meadows around have a permanently burned out area where a fire ravaged the grass, never to grow back again. There is barely enough for a herd to survive, and only the strongest will. Helike The original city was destroyed by 'columns of flame'. While this was not what actually happened, mysterious columns of flame have now burst up around the ruins at random times. The lands are quite dangerous and unbearably hot, even in the dead of winter. This makes it preferrable for those who can withstand the heat, those of Hephaestus, and those who can quench fire, the equines of Poseidon. Any equine can survive here, but the odds are low.
